PART 1. LASTESIS

a feminist performance collective from Valparaíso, Chile; who created the activist performance piece “Un Violador en Tu Camino” (“A Rapist in Your Path”) that now is a feminist anthem worldwide.

ACAB
All cops are bastards

Hace 219 días comenzaron los estallidos, ebulliciones del silencio, del miedo;

ACAB

All cops are bastards

But in our continent of bastard girls, children and boys, orphans, being us also bastards, sometimes makes us want to look for other adjectives.

All cops are inhumans,

All cops are rapists,

All cops are murderers.

It is from the thin and long strip of land on this continent that we speak.

The territory that meets all weathers, all landscapes, absolutely all inequalities.

About 219 days ago the outbreaks began, boils of silence, of fear; a burst of anger that organized demanded dignity. Because Chile is a country that humiliates those who inhabit it; patriarchy, cops, politics of state hardened to silence and blind the injustice.

A little over two months ago, the global pandemic arrived in our territory.

Today,

Who are we?

We are the powerful and implacable enemy of the president.

Who are we?

The neighbors who dangerously get organized to prepare the meal for the ones who need it.

Who are we?

The workers armed with fire and skillet who go out to the streets when “it’s forbidden” to scream hunger.

Who are we?

The victims of domestic and sexual violence, whose only way out is to call to the rapist and murderous police.

Who are we?

The ill without bed and the unsupplied medical staff.

That is the confinement in much of this territory; like the one you live in, we share the same anger.

And the cops persecute us, block the exits of our houses, provoke, infiltrate like protesters and start burning everything, they parade armed through our streets, they fly through our heads, they release gases, hit, torture, rape, destroy, blind us. They enjoy this invented war, in a cocaine wave, like puppets of a government that disposes the people, in tanks, water cannons and tear gas vans, squats and shots in the eyes are the way of controlling and disappearing the conscious peoples.

Meanwhile, those neighbors die not only of the health crisis but also of the savage capitalism, the patriarchy and negationism.

They won’t silence us, the system is destroyed and the disaster is evident.

today more than ever

we can force the counterattack

the “anti hood” law went to hell

the COVID ripped the time apart

the collective yells unification!

destroy the police institution

the people yells enough

the invisibilization of the real struggle the “overcrowd” lives

it’s devastating and humiliating

your inhumanity has no place

there is no truce that fits into a grocery box

It’s been more that 7 months of struggle in our country

The government won’t listen

And renews the weaponry of the police

This is not over yet.

The police do not guard me, my girlfriends do.

PART 2. PUSSY RIOT

germinando.

PUSSY RIOT (ENGLISH TRANSLATION)
The foundation of our struggle is that it´s possible because it is collective.
Comandanta Ramona

May 2020. Either we organize ourselves or we perish. We are facing an
unprecedented escalation of state brutality and repression.
And with it, the historic opportunity to set it all on fire.

This call cannot be postponed because at this moment, while we are confined,
governments are intensifying the persecution of social struggles, armies are
taking over our streets, tearing apart our rights, our freedoms.

From the Plaza de la Dignidad to the Zocalo, from the Lacandon Jungle to the
Amazon. From the Chureca to the favelas, we call to restructure civil action
against the states of terror of Piñera, Ortega, Maduro, Bolsonaro, Duque,
Moise, Hernández, Lenín Moreno..

May this confinement don´t stop us. May it put us in the skin of those who daily risk their freedom to to name this unnameable tomb, named Berta Cáceres,Dilan Cruz, Inocencio Tucumbí, Digna Ochoa. For the courageous desire to be able to weep this, the deepest of the clandestine graves : Latin America.

This one, whose eyes are being gouged out by Chilean police, our America,
gassed by the Ecuadorian army, raped by the Colombian Squads, tortured in
Nicaragua, gagged, imprisoned in Cuba, massacred by Haitian militias,
disappeared, incinerated by the Mexican police. The America deeply wounded by each of the agents in Asunción, who escort those who buy and sell girls.

This is our demand to see the day when the pigs, the filth, the feds are named
without disgust: protectors of the people. The utopia of seeing that a woman in Juarez who goes to a patrol car, doesn´t risk to be found into a ditch.

Las Tesis and Pussy Riot call on the compañeras, the comrades because as a
comandante in the Sierra Maestra once said, a compañero is someone whose
lips tremble with rage in the face of injustice committed anywhere on earth. It is to this rage that we appeal. The rage of the mother of Rufo, blinded by 50
buckshot by the Venezuelan police. The rage of the 41 Guatemalan, of the 43,
of the thousands of our mothers searching across wastelands for a slither of
their daughters. Let this rage be our Constitution, our gunpowder to burn not
just a square, a monument, but what today even from home, is urgent to throw on the fire: the entire paradigm of oppression, misery, impunity, dispossession on which barracks, cathedrals, government houses, transnationals, refineries, banks, radio and television networks, film industries, have been built. And the most lethal, schools.

Let this pandemic not stifle the recent regional uprisings. For our longings, for
everything that can never be subjected to confinement. Let´s resist.
Wherever there is a pronouncement of Ni una menos, where a green, purple
scarf waves, where one passes in front of a corporation on his way to the local
market, where there is one peasant defending his land, one student learning the indigenous languages, a neighborhood assembly, one subversive artist, one teacher teaching to question, one journalist counting the dead, where we can hear the argument of Yesenia Zamudia, one woman reporting abuse.. Where one puts their eyes in front of the policeman´s gun for the rights of millions, there, our revolution will continue to germinate.
